This aFe Power Race Downpipe eliminates the catalytic converter for maximum exhaust flow for the popular 2012 BMW 328i with the N20 turbo motor. In recent dyno testing, this race pipe produced 13hp and 29lbs. x ft. torque and outflowed the factory Downpipe by 287%. This system uses a 4" diameter tube and progressively tapers to increase exhaust velocity and usable torque. This high performance race pipe is constructed out of lightweight, TIG-welded 4" stainless steel. Note: Does not fit vehicle with N26 engine. N26 engine is SULEV (super low emission) version of N20 100% TIG-Welded by certified craftsmen for race proven strength and durability. TIG-Welding provides the strongest welds reducing stress cracks. A unique 4" tapered design is used to increase exhaust velocity and increase usable torque. This means more aggressive throttle response and increased passing power. This Downpipe uses factory mounting locations for the O2 sensors. All hardware and brackets are included for a hassle-free installation. This unit also comes with a lifetime warranty. aFe Downpipes are engineered and manufactured in our Corona, California manufacturing facility.
